Episode 40 'A Hard Day Part One'

In part one Leandra and myself starting our day off on the wrong foot by missing our alarm and sleeping in. We are woken by the headmaster himself storming into our dorm. This behaviour is unacceptable for St. Catherines girls so we each receive an over the knee spanking despite our protests and inventive excuses.

We are instructed to shower and be ready in 20 minutes. Full of good intention we head off towards the shower room, however we get distracted by chatting in the shower room rather than getting on with things. It seems our ability to follow direction is somewhat lacking so we each receive a nude strapping and telling off before being sent to the shower feeling very sorry for ourselves.

Our day does not improve as you will see in part two of ‘A Hard Day’, and we don’t seem to be helping our poor bottoms much at all. This time we break school rules by playing around on our phones while our teacher is out of the classroom. The headmaster hears giggling coming from our class room and catches us playing around on our phones. Our phones are confiscated, but our attitudes don’t help the fate of our bottoms, with an over the pants spanking, followed by a bare bottom tawsing and then followed by a caning. Full of remorse we are sent to the corner until our teacher returned.

A Hard Day Part One

Immediately afterwards are those blissful moments, not a care in the world, no one else existing but us. Small movements, muscle aches, calm breathing and sometimes tears, tears or release and tears of expression. Rope marks and indented pressure marks, tender welts from the lick of a loving whip. Delicious.

I love the small reminders, getting in a hot bath and a sharp sting, reminding me of our time and what we did, drying myself with a soft towel forgetting something so soft can sting. It makes me smile. Then getting dressed, cotton pyjamas, again so softly tormenting the tender marks.

I feel so alive, peaceful and happy.

I have been re-evaluating and considering my identity and who I am. I have always thought of myself as Submissive but feel lately I have more Masochistic tendencies but I think to be honest I am on a spectrum which varies from time to time, a bit like our dynamic too. I have been asked to write about my relationship and dynamic with Dave but have found it difficult, as our dynamic changes as we change and evolve. I may write about it, as best I can write about anything that is fluid and constantly changing.

I have been looking to define myself, to say I am ‘x’, but I am not sure this is possible, or even if I want to anymore. What happens when I find that definition? I like changing, evolving from day to day and being free to do that. I think I may be coming out of my block and hope to write soon.

I have been shooting, both photography and modelling, so will write about them soon.

Until then I shall leave you with some rope love.

The first shoot of the year for us was with the very stunning Scarlot Rose, a beautiful petite and very hard working model. We did some very strenuous floor and ariel ties during this challenging shoot, but Scarlot was wonderful, gave it 100% and the results I feel are spectacular. Some of these images will be exhibited in Houston for FofoFest in March.

We began with some simple floor ties and developed on them, WykD_Dave worked his magic adding rope and adding to the story. Sometimes though the most powerful story is in the untying, and I think this image of Scarlot tells a powerful tale.

We went on to do two very different suspensions, one a strappado suspension and the other a lotus suspension. Partly to give Scarlot some recovery time (after lots of tea of course) we created an image of her ‘en pointe’ with rope around her legs.

Keeping Scarlots pointe shoes on we did a few different sets, some simple ones of her bound elegantly in rope and another of the ‘cow face’ yoga pose, Scarlot was able go into this pose quite far, so Dave bound her in it and then lifted her on the chest harness only, which requires a lot of strength for the rope model to do this. I think we got some great images from this final set.

We had a collaborative shoot planned with Disturbed Alt, and beautiful model with great body and sweet innocence to her look. We did mostly topless images, even though Disturbed Alt was comfortable working to nude, but this was the feel of the day. My favourite image is of a tight crotch rope over her white pants . There is certainly a classic innocence to white pants, much like the white pants of a school uniform and probably why it is such a huge fetish. White pants have a clean crisp look to them in photography and contrasts beautifully with the rope. I wanted to create some darker images and think this shot does it, although perhaps something harsher then clothes pegs next time.

We ended this set with some partials and ended the shoot with a nude partial on the floor. Disturbed Alt was fun to work with, professional at all times, both followed direction and posed herself very well.

Our most recent shoot, which I have a lot more editing to do from, was with Adreena, her ability to express herself in rope is wonderful. We began the day with a partial suspension which again Dave added to and ended up with a beautiful partial suspension with rope gag and blindfold. Extending on this idea further Dave tied Adreena in a partial with one leg suspended and wax dripping down her leg and across her body. I love Adreena’s tattoos which are really complimented by the natural rope and wax.

The next set begun as  a freestyle ‘feel’ tie and ended up in the image on the left. Adreena covered in wax, blindfold and gagged, with a ‘bird on the back’ kind of tie kneeling in this beautiful position, one of my favourite images from the day but I feel that way about a lot of them. There are a lot more images to come from this set and the whole shoot.

We then did some untied images and went on to do a futumomo tsuri tie that Adreena had asked could she try. I have photographed this a few times and never fully been happy with my lighting, plus I wanted to get some different angles, which we did get, but I have not edited those yet.

Adreena did wonderful in this stressful suspension, hanging by one leg upside down and looking serene and calm. I love the line of the stretched out leg and sorry I didn’t get more images of this position. I wanted to get some low angles of the futumomo tsuri and I did, so they will come later.

The final set was a floor tie, again a one which was free flowing and more for the ‘feel’ of things then any particular patter. Dave as always did a magnificent job. Adreena looks amazing and posed beautifully in this tie, a very natural feel to these images and definitely more to come from this set.

First up is Bars and Stripes where I play Clover Paisley (surname was created from a napkin game at dinner, it was that or meatrack, I decided to go with Paisley lol), here I am a Femme Fatale character, one which is incredibly fun to play, as this is very far from who I am in real life. Using my ‘charms’ to manipulate men to get my way in life I of course try my luck in this strict prison with Mr. Lewis, but it only turns my bottoms a deep shade of pink.

Learning the way the prison is run by a strapping  right at intake, you can see a few episodes of my time in prison, including my intake, solitary and punishment for masturbating in bed.

Over on  Spanking Sarah you can see my bottom reddened by both Sarah and Mr.Stern in ‘Double Punishment’ and you will see why I would never make a good nurse in ‘Nurse Clover Paddled’, here you will also see a first for me, a spanking I enjoyed and did not object or act up to in my usual defiant manner.

On Spanked in Uniform, I miss the flight I am supposed to be on and have to sweep the hangar as punishment. Not without some motivation though and earn myself a good paddling and then have to sweep the rest of the hangar bare bottomed.

From observation, online forums, discussions at munches, peer rope events and workshops, it appears there is a general expectation for rope bottoms to space. At the other end of this is that if a bottom does not space they pretend they have and feel like they have done something wrong or that there is something wrong with them for not spacing. One topic I get asked a lot about, is how to space in rope.

I felt like writing this blog to assure those who find it difficult to space in rope, that there is nothing wrong with you at all. Personally, lots of different factors will determine if I space.

There is no formula with rope bondage, you can not negotiate a tie with a rope top and decide by x point in the tie you will be ‘gone to the happy rope place’, it just doesn’t work like that. Similarly it is not right for the top to tie a bottom and expect him/her to have spaced by the time the chest harness (for example) is completed. Rope bondage will differ from one person to the next, each rope bottom will respond differently and will interpret their experience different to another person, so why are we all expected to respond the same every time we are tied up?

I love being connected to my partner in rope, be it on the floor or in the air, I don’t care what kind of tie I am in, its the connection, the security, relaxing stress and so on that make me space. However, when we tie in clubs I rarely space, when we practise or do fun suspensions, I rarely space, they are lots of fun and are very enjoyable experiences but I don’t usually space. On a few occasions I have spaced in someone other than my partners bondage, those times were with another trusted friend who I have a great connection with.

As a photographer, I have worked with models who have spaced, some are genuine and some you can really tell that they are playing up to it, which is great as we create fantastic images with that. What concerns me is the need to act this way, like all rope bottoms should be programmed with this response, which is not always the case. I would suggest relaxing and enjoying it, rather than worrying about how you should act.

I appreciate I am different to everyone else too, and I tend to view spacing in rope as a very intimate thing. I feel shy spacing on front of people at clubs and am painfully aware that I have spaced on stage. Its a private intimate thing for me, I am stubborn and will fight it as best I can at certain clubs or events. We tend to play at home, when we are doing rope for no other reason than for ourselves, this is when I like to let go.

Its okay not to space, there is nothing wrong with it, although if you are genuinely having difficulty getting to that place and feel you are really missing out on something, here are a few tips that have helped me in the past;

• Trust; First and foremost, being with someone you trust will play a large part. You are probably not going to trust a random person in a club or even a well known person in a club. Please choose who you trust carefully. I have been tied by very reputable riggers in the past, some of whom I would never do rope bondage with again. Trust the person, not their reputation.
• Connection; Speaking from personal experience (on all of these points) I would say most people who space in rope have a good connection with the person that is tying them. Trust, chemistry, passion will lead to a good connection, if they tie with this connection and passion, you will likely space, almost like making love/fucking you with the rope, whichever term you prefer
• Relax; This is very important, if you are stressed, pissed off or uptight about something, do what you can to relax both your mind and your body. Talk about what is on your mind, some times you have to call defeat and do it another time. It will be worth it, trust me. Have a bath; this will relax your mind and body. I find before a stressful suspension a bath helps a lot with endurance. Plus, you feel fresh and good about yourself, this will hopefully make you feel positive and will help your time in rope.
• Music; Music is such a powerful tool combined with rope. There are some pieces of music that really speak to my masochistic side, the music fuels my adrenaline.  While there are other pieces that are very relaxing, can set the mood for a great scene. Sometimes silence is beautiful too, just to hear the noise of the rope, both of your breathing, the creak of the suspension line (if its suspension).
• Comfort; Your time in bondage is probably not what most would describe as comfortable, what can really help is a few mats on the floor or a soft blanket on the floor, particularly for floor work. If you use wax then an old sheet over the blanket will help. Make sure the room is a good temperature, particularly if you are going to be naked.
• BDSM; Adding other kinks you enjoy to the rope fun can help bring you closer to spacing, candle wax (a low melting temperature can be very relaxing for those who do not like pain), knife play, breath play.. the list here is endless, anything you enjoy to make your time more fun is good, or just some really stressful rope can do the trick.
• Senses; Sensory deprivation can intensify the whole experience, a blindfold for example is very powerful, you are left to feel and hear everything, driving your imagination. A gag, nails scraping, pinwheel, ice and all manner of sensation toys will intensify the experience for you.

Having said all of this, everyone is different and you may not space or something entirely different might make you space. Its not the be all or end all of rope, and as long as you are having fun and enjoying yourself, its all good.

Both days were tremendous fun and what a really lovely bunch of people to work with. My bum still red and a bit stripy, had a very good time. I think the stress of the previous day came out, as during one of the films we were shooting, I burst into tears… but you will have to wait and see that one for your self. A very rare occurrence, it couldn’t have happened with nicer people though.

On day two I had the opportunity to work with a lovely Dutch model, Leandra, bundles of fun and quite a trouble maker. We are the first two join Whippingsham Secretarial College, a brand spanking (excuse the pun) new series with very sexy uniforms. -KONDO TOMIE, YOSO NO ONNAGOKORO (THE FEMININE HEART OF DRESSING) 1985

I found this interesting quote  in a book I am reading, by anthropologist and only western Geisha, Liza Dalby. It made me stop and consider the symbolism of submissive or masochistic girls in kimono when doing Kinbaku or Shibari.

In this book, kimono is described as a ‘cocoon of dignity, tradition, chastity, and etiquette’, perhaps this is what makes it so appealing to do bondage in these beautiful gowns.  Unravelling the layers and become exposed. I love wearing kimono while doing bondage, it puts my mind in a very submissive headspace and helps set the atmosphere of the scene. I have a wonderful authentic and feminine feeling when wearing them, kimono definitely changes how you walk as they can be quite restrictive, but then the plan never really involves walking when wearing kimono. I love being bound and  slowly exposed through all the layers, the legs are easily revealed, but the Obi provides a false sense of security with all the wraps of the thick brocade. Creating a sense of anticipation when the wraps of the Obi are undone, when the kimono is parted at the front, and I can finally feel rope on my skin.

Such a wonderful liberating feeling.

We wandered around looking for inspiration and found it in a barn full of farming machinery and trucks, they were beginning to show signs of decay, which provided us with perfect crumbling texture for some art nude images.
Playing with the patterns of natural light we had on this beautiful winters day and some flash for fill, Delta got some really interesting and very different images.

We moved on to some other pieces of machinery, some very strange pieces of machinery that offered some interesting backdrop and props to play with. Delta was shooting with natural light for this set which created a wonderful atmosphere to the images. It was strange modelling nude imagery on farming equipment but I think we got some very interesting results.

We did a few more sets, posing art nude on some more very strange pieces of farming equipment and Delta introduced some flash back into the images. My favourite of these last sets is a simple pose on some blue bags of fertilizer, I love the lines Delta created in this image, and the colours are very striking. I find this quite a strong image.

After only a couple of hours shooting at this fantastic location, we had exhausted out ideas and Delta being considerate was aware of me being nude in the middle of December. It was a lovely day but in the shade could really feel the cold, so it was probably a good time to finish, better to finish on a good note. Having worked together a lot over the past few years, we can shoot the ideas we have quite quickly and get good results. I mainly put that down to Deltas knowledge and incredible way of managing light.

We already have plans for January so there will be more images in the not to distant future.
